TENNIS.
«5 — Last week the ladies of the West End LaAvn Tennis Club held a most successful and enjoyable picnic. A series of matches took place, Mrs N. E. Burton and Miss Daisy Bice beating, Mrs Chapman and Miss Metcalfe in the final (9—5), the prize being gloves, presented by a gentleman member of the Club. Afternoon tea was provided, and the "At Home" passed off very pleasantly. a mum ii ________
