PECULIAR CONDUCT.
A BOGUS SUICIDE. (By Telegraph.-Press Association.) PALMERSTON NORTH, this day. The police have received intimation that the woman Westerholm, who disappeared last Wednesday and left a letter stating that she" intended to drown herself, is in the Christchurch Rescue Home. The police have been diligently searching thet river since Thursday. On the following day they found a cape and bodice planted' under Fitzherbert Bridge. They were identified as having belonged to Mrs Westerholm. Mo reason is assigned at present for her peculiar conduct.
