THE SPORTS.

During the afternoon sports -were held, which added greatly (o the entertainment of.those present. Resides the usual riding .led jumping competitions, there were bicycle races, Mr Nonien ably acting as liantlicapper and garter. These resulted as follows:—Two-mile Handicap: P. Smith. SOyds, 1: J.
