An old age pensioner named Jartf 3 Roberts, 83 years of age, died suddfcn.y on Saturday. He had been living in Grey-street "with a man named Mason, and ion. Saturday morning Dr. Walker ordered his removal to the Cbstle.V. : Home. While being taken there in «• . cah, Roberts, who had been unwell for some time, died suddenly. His body . was removed to the morgue, and an inquest was held this morning at Gleeson's Hotel, before Dr. A. M<£; Arthur, coroner. A verdict of "Death :. from natural causes" was returned. The Auckland and Ponsonby Lodges of Druids meet to-night at St. George's Hall to 'receive the president of the;; Canterbury district. .
