A team from tbe Parnell Tennis.; Club visited Coromandel'to-day and was victorious in a match against the Coromandel Club.by 17 games. -After* noon tea was provided by the ladies, ■ In the evening the visitors were entertained at dinner at the Coromantlel Hotel, after which a veiy enjoyable " social was held. Combined Doubles: Mr Gatland and Miss Home (C.) beat Mr D'Arcy and Miss Ledingham (P-), 6—5, 6—5. Men's Singles: Mr Billing ' (C.) beat Mr Stevenson (P.), 4—6, 6—3, a— 6. Mr Upfill (P.) beat: Mr B Billing (C), 6—5, 6—5. Mr D'Arcy (P.) beat Mr Gatland (C.). 6—2, 6-2. Dr. Bull (C.) beat Mr Simpson (P.), 5—6, 6—5, 6—3. Mr Kenrick (C.) beat ; Mr Colbeck (P.). 6—4, 6—2.
