The Boers give the following version Of the recent capture of a pat ol of New South Wales Lancers and Austral ian Horse at Eei-dsbiU'g:— . « Commandant Be Lary received formation of the presence of an *,ng. lish patrol on a farm near Rendsbm . and sent three patrols to intercept • They found one hundred British,^ three cannon. One patrol, cona«g« of 21 Australian Horse, was intercepted. Five were killed, three wounded, and eleven captured, the Boers escaping without any casualties."
