WARD FARMERS' ASSOCIATION.
f At a sitting in chambers at Dunedin l yesterday a summons for the discovery of the free assets in connection with the liquidation of the Ward Farmerii' Association was argued. The matter had been before the Court previously in another form. It was an application to secure payment out of the estate of the costs of, and incidental to, the inquiry before the Court. It was held that the deben-furet-holders could not be charged with' the inquiry, and as the debentures were apparently a charge upon the whole assets, no fund was forthcoming for payment. The summons argued yesterday was to have certain sums arising from the profit on the re-sale of oats, and the profit on working, stores, made available. The decision was reserved.
