PAEROA, this day
Air N. T>. Coehrane. who has been appointed manager of. the Taupiri Coal Mines, left Paeroa this morning in connection with his new duties.
Mr Hanlon's refreshment rooms, near the railway station, Paeroa, were broken into on Saturday night. Some cash and £4 worth of lollies were stolen. Entranca was effected by prizing open a window at the rear. This is the second robbers in Paeroa during the week. ' ■ ' ■ Mr Gus Gomes' dwelllnghouse in Kara« ng-ahake was burnt down early this morning. No particulars as t« insurance are available. _~ , ■..'...
