DURBAN, November 10.
'Major-General Hunter, chief of General White's staff, with 500 Natal volunteers and 100 of the Imperial Light Horse, on Thursday surprised Jhe Boers at Lombards Kop, on the ifeft hand side of the main road, several miles north of Ladysmith.
