PARNELL SAILING CLUB.
The second series of the club's class races took place on Saturday. The following are the results: —Patikis. Entries and handicaps: Rambler, scratch; Eka. 2m; Boomerang, sm; Bronzewing, 7rfi; Zoe, 7m; Rita, 7m.
Eka won by 1m 50s from Boomerang, Zoe 47s behind third. On time allowance Zoe takes first place, Bronze-win asecond, and Eka third.
22-footers. Entries and handicapsMyra, scratch; Melissa, 2m; Welcome Jack, sm;Enita, 7m; Ida, 7m; Merlin llm; Koromiko, 18m. Myra finished first at 4h lOxn 9s, Melisi seS , a S 4 ,mof S' and Welc°™ Jack third at 4h 23m 535. On time allowance Welcome Jack takes first nl-ace, Me7lissa second, find Merlin tMird. ' 26-footers—Entries: Swift, scratchPastime. 3m; Kotiro, 7m; and Waitangi, OJm. Kotiro and' Waitangi retired during therace, and Pastime won easily from Swift.
Open Handicap—Entries: Thelma and Rainbow, scratch; Aorere, 13m; Corina, 30m. Thelma and Rainbow got away together, the former establishing- a lead on the run to Hobson Bay mark. She maintained her lead to the Queen-street wharf, and was lm 27s ahead rounding the Hobson Bay mark the second time. Thelma gradually increased her lead to the flagship," the finish being: Thelma oh 39m 16s; Rainbow, 5h 49m 50s.
