Z At the civil sittings of the Supreme Court E. R. B. a lad | injured in the Rakaia railway accident, who claimed £2000 damages, was awarded £750.

Mr Justice Williams to-day granted decrees nisi in the divbrce cases of Sarah Jane Waters v. Andrew Waters, wife's petition, on the ground of desertion; and Margaret Gawn v. James Murdoch Gawp, wife's petition, ..foi- .- desertion. '
