NORTHERN CO.'S MOVEMENTS.

Thursday: Muritai from Great Barrier; Chelmsford for Whangapona. 8 p.m.; Wellington from Whangarei: Waitangi from Tauranga, Tairua, and Wkangamata; Ngunguru for Whangarei, 5 p.m.; Kanieri for Waitara, 1 p.m. Friday: Clansman from North, early, and leaves .for Tauranga 7 p.m.; Wellington for Whangarei. 10.30 p.m.; Muritai for Kuaotunn and Mercury Bay, 0 p.m.: Gairloch from New Plymouth; Xgunguru from Whangarei; Glenelg from Opunake and Wanganui.

The ketch Envy leaves next week for Tairua'to load timber for Noumea.

The s.s. Taviuni left for Wellington last evening with part original cargo.

The s.s: Westralia left Sydney for Auckland last evening, aud is due on Sunday night next.

The barqueutiue Margarita tows out from Thames River ;to-morrow with timber for Melbourne.

The warships Mildura and Ringdove left Lyttelton this morning, the former for Wellington, via Kaikoura. and the latter for Picton.

The s.s. Pukaki leaves the Bluff for Auckland on Saturday, and calls in at Oamaru on Monday and -Timaru on Tuesday to take in consignments of produce.

The N.Z. Shipping- Company have received advice from New York to the effect that fit. the time of the mail leaving New York the s.s. Knight Templar was on the berth for Auckland direct, and would be followed by either the Maria de Larrinagar or Folmlna. Both vessels will be loaded by the l-nited States and Australian S.S. Co.
