A NOISY MEETING
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day,
Mr John Hutcheson addressed a crowded meeting in the Skating Rink last night. He spoke very strongly against the present Government and defended his attitude in joining with the Opposition, but said his principles had mot altered one jot. A vote of thanks and confidence was declared carried On a show of hands by a large majority. The latter part of the meeting was extremely rowdy, some of Mr Hutcheson's references to Mr Seddon being received with cheering, hooting, and singing rollicking songs. For some time he could scarcely get a hearing.
