Good grade gum continues in steady demand, with no change in values. Some large parcels of poor stuff sold at a concession in price since last report. Contrary to expectations, the London market showed improvement at the last auction sale, No. 1 rising £5 per ton. and better prices were also realised for some other grades. Locally the Alice is still loading gum for New York. The supplies of gum for the month to date total 552 tons.
