THE OPINION OF BISHOP WALLIS.

WELLINGTON, Sunday
Addressing the parishioners of St. Mark's last night, Bishop Wallis made further reference to the Avar in South Africa. He said that he had a doubt at first as to the righteousness of the Avar, but all his doubt Avas nowremoved. He felt very thankful that the colony had throAvn in its lot with the Mother Country in the effort to obtain rights for Englishmen in the Transvaal.
