Notice is hereby given that a Poll will during the years and for the purpose folAiYy^fum^not exceeding £50,000 at any time during the year 1900 Any further sum not exceeding £10,000 at any time during the year 1901. Such Loan shall be raised and expended exclusively for the purposes following, that is to say:— 1 In payment of such commission, charges, and expenses, including the cost of obtaining this Act, as the Council may determine to have been actually incurred in connection with such Loan. 2. Repayment of existing overdraft at the National Bank of New Zealand (Limited), at Auckland, of about £30,000, and for the construction of the following works, namely:—Drainage, £44,354; Auxiliary Water Supply, £12 000; Purchase of Land and the Erection of Necesssary Buildings for a Fire Brigade Station, and housing of firemen, horses, and appliances, £3000; and for Paving with Wood or Asphalt, or other approved material.
