The following little manipulation is easy of execution, useful and practical, and will save both temper and nerves. Let the needle be held with the ring and little fingers of the'left hand, instead of the thumb and forefinger <as usual, leaving the latter free to grasp the smallest bit of silk or cotton introduced through the eye, land pull it through.
