DURBAN, November 17.
Indirect evidence goes to show thatGeneral Joubert is alive,, but possibly wounded. A heavy rifle fro, followed by an explosion! was heswd in the direction of Ladysmith early on the 16th. DURBAN, November 16. V Tia-tive missionary at Estcourt declares that the Ladysmith volunteerson Friday, the 10th, drew the enemy into the open. The regulars then by.a flank movement delivered a crushing defeat. The enemy employed 200 Kaffirs to bury their dead. . , Two trains containing the wounded Avere also sent to the Transvaal.
