THE BOUVY CASE.

WELLINGTON, this day.
Application for a writ of Habeas Corpus in Bonvy's case was withdrawn, but. . notwithstahdin. Judge Deniston gave judgment refusing the motion in <riie case for extradition now going- on. Yesterday M. Machenaud a military warder in the French Consular service, arrived from Sydney and gave the police a description of ■the man wanted, which corresponds ■with Bonvy's appearance. To-day he gave evidence, and identified accused as a man who had been pointed out to him in the streets of Sydney by a colleague as coming from' New Caledonia.
