In the Assembly the Premier stated that the Government had not receisved any communication from the Imperial Government asking- them to supply contingents for the Transvaal, as Mr Reid had stated. The New South Wales ex-Premier had evidently been misreported. :
ALBANY, this day
The s.s. Cornwall has coaled for the Cape. She had many cases of influenza "and one trooper was,too ill to proceed.
