OAMAHU, Thursday.
There was a large attendance at tfte first day of the North Otago Agricultural and Pastoral Association's Show to-day, and the competition in nearlyall the classes was good. The cups were won as follows: —Ayrshire, W. Cowan; Alderney, C. Christie; Merinos, ,T. Reid; Border Leicesters, J. S. Holmes; English Leicesters, D. Grant;! Lincoln?,, J. S. Holmes; Downs, Messrs Aitken and Set'h-Smith; dairy produce, Miss M. Gemmell, first cup; Miss Morton, second cup; Mrs J. £. Taylor, third cup.
