Kiiranui.—lt is understood that operations will be resumed in the Kiiranui mine within the week, and that M- T H Crawford has been appointed mine manager, lt will take a couple of days to repair the tunnel at the upper" workings before a contract can be let for driving the crosscut for Barry's reef. The crosscut needs to be extended 130 feet before commencing operations on the lode.
