THIS WEEK'S GRAPHIC.
SOME LEADING FEATURES.
Several of the pictures in this week's "Graphic" are of much more than ordinary interest. The cartoon "Federation in the Air" gives one possible view of New Zealand's position should we elect to join the confederation. The fine photogravure of the assassination scene in "Julius Caesar," .as performed by the Auckland King'ss College Dramatic Society, is an example of firstclass flashlight work, and the largepicture of the Auckland city councillors met in the Council Chamber derives particular interest from the fact that it was taken on the eve of the election. The number contains some more pictures in connection with the recent golf championship meeting, and among other illustrations may be mentioned the cruise of the Waikare. Springtime, Some Young Southern Colonials, etc. Our readers Will find no end of interesting reading matter in the number. The fiction department is particularly large, and in the matter of articles, notes, sketches, together with society news and topics of interest to families, the periodical has no equal here. The results of ..'the. .third; prize competition are published in the issue.
