SHAREMARKET.
May Queen shares sold at G/5 to-day on the Exchange, but although more could have, been got at G/G the best buying price was G/4. Bunker's Hill shares were a little easier, being sold at 1/11, with sellers left at 2/, and no buyers quoted. N.Z. Talisman shares also changed hands at 12/4. In Standard stocks an upward tendency was shown by N.Z. Insurance, buyers advancing from 58/G to 60/, but no sellers quoted. National Banks were wanted at 52/ and Taupiri Coal at 21/6. Buyers came in to-day for N.Z. Shipping shares, 98/ being offered. Auckland Gas (new issue) were also enquired for at 195/, but no sales were reported.
