LONDON, August 20. A cargo of Victorian wheat ex Nordlyst sold at 28/10*. The hemp market is hardening, and large business is doing. Good Wellington, £2G per ton. At the periodical sale of hides a small supply was offered,' and a few lots of light qualities sold at late rates. Basils, a farthing higher; leather, par to a farthing lower. Frozen mutton: Crossbred wethers, maiden ewes, Canterbury, 3 9-16 d: Dunediu and Southland, 3d; North Island, 2|d. Lamb, prime Canterbury, 4Jd; fair average, including Dunedin, Southland. Wellington, and secondary Canterbury, 4 9-16 d. River Plate mutton unchanged. Tin Is weaker: spot, £140 5/; three months, £137 12/ C.
