(By Telegraph—Press Association.)
WELLINGTON, this day
An applicant to the Benevolent Trustees /Tor relief said, amongst other thing's, that his . wife had thrashed him. His explanation was that she was a member of the Women's Political League, and devoted much time to the preparation of a paper or. "The Home in "Relation to the State." While the lady and her daughter" were writing this up the husband went without his meals, which caused friction, and ultimately led to Court and gaol.
