TAIRUA BROKEN HILLS COMPANY.
! At a meeting1 of the syndicate which purchased the Broken Hills mine, Tairua, held yesterday afternoon, it was resolved to form a limited liability company, with a capital of £ 12,500, divided'into 125,000 at 2/. Of this number 100,000 were allotted to the syndicate and 25,000 were reserved. It was decided to make a call of 1/ per ; share directly upon the registration lof the company. The name of the company was fixed as the Tairua Broken Hills. The first directors appointed are Messrs If. A. Gordon, H. H. Adams, J. McCombie, T. Morrin, E. W. Alison, I). G. Macdonnell, and 11. T. Gorrie. Mr J. B. Sheath was appointed legal manager. The meeting agreed to give Messrs J. McCombie and 11. 11. Adams 100 guineas and 100 shares (paid up to 1/) in recognition of the services of these gentlemen in connection with visiting1 the mine and reporting on it prior to the purchase by the syndicate.
