The schooner Glsborne was docked to-day for cleaning and painting, and will sail about Saturday next for Timaru.
'The mission schooner Southern Cross sails for Norfolk Island and Melanesia tomorrow morning. She returns to Auckland shortly before Christmas.
Mr C. Bailey Is making good progress with the steamer which he is building for Captain McGregor. The planking of the hull is now complete, and it is expected that the vessel will be ready for launching In about two months' time.
The brig Vision, recently purchased by Messrs J. J. Craig and G. Niccol, will be hauled up on Mr Niccol's slip next week tor'- overhaul and repairs. Her rig will be altered to that, of a brigantine, and she will be put in the intercolonial trade.
The s.s. Hawea left Wellington for Auckland yesterday afternoon, having been detained by bad weather, and is due on Friday next. She brings 200 tons transhipments ex Knight Templar, at New York. The Hawea leaves on Saturday for the Bluff to load produce for Auckland, ■ via Oamaru and Timaru.
The repairs to the schooner Falcon on Mr George Nicoll's slip are now nearly com•pleted, and the vessel will be. put into the water on Monday. She has received a very extensive overhaul, being re-fastened and strengthened, while new rigging has been fitted. She will be towed down to Tairua to load timber for Lyttelton.
