THE PACIFIC CABLE.
SYDNEY, July 10.
Mr Reid, the Premier, has received cables from the Agent-General which Mr Chairiberlaih has seen, relating to the Pacific cable, and which the Premier has now. communicated to the other colonies interested.
■Mr Chamberlain suggested that, the question whether one of the three Australasian representatives on the Board of Commissioners should be speciaUy representative of New Zealand should be left to the. Australian and New .Zealand Governments to decide.
