THE MANSFIELD TRAGEDY
MELBOURNE, July 10.
The Crown has decided to prosecute the girl Butler in connection with the Mansfield murder. Butler met his death, it isi alleged, by stabbing, the theory being that the deed was done with a table knife. ' At the Coroner's inquest the jury returned a verdict that there was not sufficient evidence to show the cause of death. A daughter of the deceased was arrested at the time of the supposed murder.
