SPECIAL MEETING.
An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders in the Ng-unguru ■Coal Co>. (Limited) was held this.) afternoon, Mi* Tankard (chairman of j directors) presiding. The business j .of the meeting was to consider a proposal to wind up the Company, and appoint a liquidator. Mr McGregor i moved a resolution as. follows: "That] it has-been proved to the satisfaction of this Company that by reason of its liabilities it cannot carry oil its business, and that the' Company be wound up."1 A discussion was proceeding on this proposal when we, went to press. Mr Gascoigne brought up the proposal that the liquidator be appointed by the Supreme Court.
