SATURDAY'S CUP MATCHES.
ITEWTON, GRAFTON, AND SHORE
VICTORIOUS.
The Rugby football matches drew a good attendance on Saturday, both at Epsom and at Devonpart. A couple of showers had the effect of making the ball rather greasy and the ground slippery, otherwise the play would liave been faster than it was. In the senior grade Grafton defeated Ponsonby by 15 points to 8; Newton defeated Suburbs by 16 points to 5; and North Shore defeated Parnell by 17 points to 5. North Shore are still leading for the Cup. Details of the games are appended: —
