WAITEKAURI NOTES.

PAEEOA, Saturday. Last night, in the Public Hall, Waitekauri, the Loyal Waitekauri and Golden Cross Lodge of Oddfellows, j M.U., was formed, the function proving a most successful one, five members being initiated. Visitors from the Thames, Waihi, and Paeroa were present and assisted in the ceremony. P.P.G.M. Bro. John Leydon delivered the initiation charge to the new members, and the lodge was dedicated in a most impressive manner by Provincial Grand Master Bro. Eider, assisted by J\C.S. Bro. Jno. McLeod. The officers elected were: G.N., Bro. Smith; N.G. Bro. McQuaid; P.S.. Bro W. Simmonds; V.G., Bro. C. Mace; E.S., Bro. Eoek«l{ 1.G., Bro W. Gordon. After the ceremony was completed refreshments were partaken of and songs and speeches followed, the chair being taken by Bro. Eider.
