COROMANPEL, Saturday.

The concluding match of the firs^ round in the Junior Cup competition was played to-day at Opitonui, when Hauraki met Opitonui 11. for the first time this season. Hauraki secured, a decisive win by nine points to three. For Hauraki, Stevens scored a try and kicked a goal from a penalty, and T. Barrett scored a try. P. Nolan scored the only try for Opitonui. For the winners, McGvtfnness, Kyan, Stevens, and I>. Daley were the most prominent, Daley's sound defence saving several .times. For Opitonui, Murray, Bailey, and Nolan were most conspicuous.
