At Suva a stay of four days will be made, the vessel arriving on Sunday, 23rd, and sailing on Thursday, 27th. Rotuma will be visited on 29th inst., and the Waikare then runs to Banks Islands, steaming through the group, and visiting Ureparapara, Vanua Lava and Santa Maria. The New Hebrides will next be visited, Port Sandwich and Ambrym being called at on August 3rd, Vale or Sandwich Island will be visited on the 4th, Tanna Island on st.h, and Noumea on Gth, a stay of two days being made there. OnThursdayi 10th, Norfolk Island will be visited, and thence the steamer returns to Sydney, arriving on August 14th. The trip will occupy 39 days, and a total distance of 7030 miles will be covered.

On the trip from Sydney to Auckland rough weather was experienced for the first' two days, the weather being afterwards fine, and the sea smooth.
