THE NATIONAL LIBERAL AND LABOUR ORGANISATION OF NEW ZEALAND.
(To the Editor.)
Sir —Re the above association and Its inauguration in Auckland. I was present to see what the movement meant, and to my surprise neither the Liberal or Labour associations or Trades and Labour Council were represented In any number, sufficient evidence that thosa asosciations had not yet seen their way i" n,ew P° ljtical association,' but he Single Tax League was represent! Ed In full force, and were virtually the only persons enrolled in the new association and are also mainly represented on the Provisional Committee. Amid the confusion and babel of tongues in calling out names for the committee mine was called out. I should like it to be ___£-■ stood that I did not join the new movement, nor do I wish to be on the provisional or any other committee It i_ virtually a Single Tax league under a new name, and I think may be left to that body entirely. 1 U o not a^^. that any other organisations will be found represented there. 1 feel extremely sorry for Mr Edwards in the way he ha_ been misled in this matter.-! am etc
