SOME OF ITS ATTRACTIONS.
The eheif literary event of the week in most Auckland households is the advent of the "Graphic," which since its enlargement and the introduction of several novel features into its passes has won for itself a wider popularity than it ever previously enjoyed. The object of the proprietors is to go on increasing the attractiveness of the publication, and in the case of the monthly mail number to make it of more than ordinary excellence, so that the public may be led to send it abroad to distant friends. Except a letter no small reminder of our existence can be more welcome to friends at Home than a copy of tie "Graphic.'The mail number published to-day -will be found a particularly interesting' issue, profusely illustrated, and containing many serial and complete stories, articles, sketches, notes, social and general news. In addition, the world of sports and pastimes is well represented, as well as the dramatic and Eterary. The number has another attraction in its competitions. The result of the third test match competition is announced in its pages.
