I3uckland and Sons' report:--At the Haymarket,meadow hay lias brougut from 1/3 to 2/3; sheaves, 1/ to 1/9 cwt; straw, 12/ to 10/ load; maize, 2/0; oats 1/11 bushel; carrots, 10/ to £1; pressed straw, £2 10/; meadow hay, £3; clover hay, £4- boredust, ±'0 10/; guano, £i 10/; lucerne hay, £5 5/ ton. On Friday horse stock of all classes, fairly represented, sold freely; draught horses from £23 10/ to £1(3; riding horses, up to £15 10/; a choice buggy horse, £22; spring carts, £S and £7.10/ were ot the sales effected. On Tuesday, hides and Bkius, in average supply, were at last week's quotations; ox hides, 4d to sd; cow hides, 31d-to 3|d; kip, 3}d lb; tallow, 14/ to 19/ cwt; fat. l}d lb; fresh sheep pelts, 3/3 to 4/; dry pelts, 1/ to 3/2 each; iambswool, sd; fleece, 4}d to 4]d; pieces, lid to 3d lb. At Kemuera on Thursday dairy cattle, yarded numerously, were required. Those of medium quality wore from £3 to £4; choice animals, £4 15/ to £0 15/ each: store cattle better worth: fat calves, in less than usual number, sold freely; young calves, 3/ to 0/: medium sized, 0/ to W; heavy calves, up to £3 1/ each; r>o sold. Fat cattle, in usual supply, were required. Prices for those well fatted were frum IS/ to £1 1/ 1001b; steers ranged from £5 10/ to £11 5/: cows, £3 10/ to £0 10/ a-pieee; 240 sold Hheep. generally of good quality.were fully at last week's values: wethers, from 10/ to 18/3; ewes, 30/3 to 13/9; store ewes, 7/; hoggets, 9/ to 13/ each; 1400 sold. Pigs, in short supply, were without alteration In value.

Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) report as lol-lows:-We had a very large catalogue to submit at our sale on Tuesday. Hides were about at late values, with a tendency to lower rates for medium stout hides. Prices —Stout ox, 5Jd to 6UI lb; medium, 4id to 51d- light, 4d to 4id: c»w, 3|d to 4|d; stout, 4id; kip, 4d; calf, 4*d to sd; stag, 2Jd to 3d. Sheepskins: Slightly easier, in sympathy with lower prices ruling in coarse wool in London. Large, 3/0 to 4/3 each; medium 2/9 to 3/3. Tallow, 14/ to 17/6 cwt. Fat, Id to lid lb. Tails, 1/10 doz. Maize: Supplies are still very short, in consequence of which the market has gone up another Id bushel, viz., 2/4 anG 2/0 for new and old respectively. Oats: Last week's quotation, 1/10 bushel ex store, still holds good. Potatoes: Supplies fairly heavy. Market has eased 2/6 ton, £2 </6 being current rates on the wharf.
