DREDGING AT SAYLOR'S CREEK.
Amongst the passengers by the s.s. Mararoa during the month for Australia was Air J. Kneebone. who proceeds to Melbourne in connection with tne Saylor'B Creek Gold Dredging Co., at Shepherd's Flat, Dalesford. Mr Rneebone raided £6000 in Auckland for the purpose of working the property secured by that company, the prospects of which are spoken of as very encouraging. Particulars as to a dredge have alreadf been obtained, and now that capital has been provided the work of erection will be
