The mine,^-pumping plant, winding gear, tools, and other machinery of the Golden Shore Company, Coromandel, were sold by auction to-day by Mr R. C. Carr. The bidding was started at £15 by Mr E. W. Alison, and the lot was ultimately knocked down to that gentleman at £45.
