KAURI GUM MARKET. MONTHLY SUMMARY. During the past month better class gum both light and dark has had steady demand at full prices, so that no slocks have accumulated of those grades. Inferior black gum on the other hand has been neglected. East Coast firmed a little in price during the month, and re-scraped has latterly been almost unprocurable excepting in very small lots at high rates. The Mary Hasbrouck will complete loading this week, and once more shippers have had to submit to a reduction in space allowance owing- to the large amount applied for. The Hiram Emery is the next boat to load 'here for Mew York direct. Exports lor the month are:—To San Francisco, per Mariposn, 7 tons: to New York, per Lake Erie. 829 tons; Delphic. 116 tons; to London, per Wakanui, 57 tons; Mararoa, 14 tons: Westralia. 132 tons: Delphic, 177 tons; Waihorn. 12 tons; and Star of Victoria, HI tons. Total, 1455 tons. Supplies from mail to mail. 7SS tons.
