The Taviuiil sailed from Sydney at midnight on ;:isi lilt., arriving in Suva nt 11.30 a.m. Srh inst.: sailed from Suva at midnight on Ut'i insi.. arriving in Levukn at (i.2<> a.m., discharged cargo and proceeded to Samoa at 12..'!0 noon; arrived in Samoa at 0.30 p.m. on 12th inst., discharged cargo all day oil l.'Hh, and look departure at 10.30 a.m. on 14th inst.; arrived at Vavau on loth inst. at ,S..">t) p.m., discharged cargo ami loaded fruit during night, and sailed for Haapai at (5 a.m. on 16th iust.. arriving in the latter port at 1.10 p.m.: after a clay of a few hours proceeded to Tonga. Arrived at Nukualofa at 7 a.m. on 17th i,nst.. discharged cargo and loaded quantity of fruit during- the day, and sailed direct for Auckland at 5.35 p.m., arriving as above. Experienced strong south to south-east winds and heavy seas from Sydney to Suva, and from thence line weather and smooth seas till arrival. On Ist Inst. spoke the schooner Whangarou and steam tunHero, the latter being in search of the Perthshire. Spoke H.M.s. Porpoise at 5 a.m. on 11th inst., bound for Suva and Sydney.
