Sir,—Out of ISO N./C. University graduates. 102 of the honours graduates have hailed from Otago. Not bad scoring for the Scotch cockneys. No Scotch professor is tolerated in Auckland; scarce a Scotch teacher in the Grammar School. >ot long ago seven of the professors at Oxford were Scotchmen that had received all or by far the greater part of their education in Scotland.—l am, etc.,
