COLONIAL RIFLE TEAM.
SYDNEY, this day.
The Rifle Association has received a letter from the Secretary at Hobart, where he went to arrange with Sir E. Braddon, that has practically settled the -financial. question, in connection with sending- an Australian rifle team to Bisley next July. The whole of the Colonies : have agreed to subscribe on a population basis. , The necessary funds are to be raised annually and the team to be chosen on a competitive basis. -New Zealand so far is not included in the arrangement, but correspondence is proceeding with that view.
