MR J. W. KELLY.

Mr J. W. Kelly, M.H.R., addressed his constituents last night, the theatre being well filled. He spoke against the Government's administrative acts, against the Old Age Pensions Act a;; passed, and Bills providing for compensation for accidents for workmen and giving such a pre-emptive right to compensation over everybody else as proposed. He held lhat there should be, with triennial parliaments, nc Upper House, but if it was to continue to exist, it should be an ejected boJy. He announced his intention to again contest the Invercargi'il scat, aud was accorded a unanimous v.>te of thanks and confidence in him as a representative, the vote b3ing by show of hands'.
