MELBOURNE, April 14,
The Mount Lyell Company's return from March 0 to April 5, inclusive, was highly satisfactory. During that period 17,081 tons -were treated from the open cuts, assaying copper 3.2o*per cent, silver 2.78 ounces, gold 0.101; and 1608 tons from under ground, assaying copper 3.44 per cent., silver 10.58 ounces, gold .045 ounce; converters produced 455 tons of blister copper containing copper 450 tons, silver 46,255. ounces, gold 1707 ounces.
