UPPER THAMES
N.Z. CROWN MINES RETURN,
£5652 FROM 2730 TONS
The return from the N.Z. Crown mines for the past month's operations shows considerable improvement, bullion worth £5652 having been obtained from 2730 tons, as against £4889 obtained last month from 2624 tons. This makes the output to date from the mine total £206,261, of which £138,104 was obtained prior to' 1898, and £52,024 last year.
