GAIETY SPECIALTY COMPANY
A change of programme was presented at the City Hall last evening by the Gaiety Specialty and Comedy Company. The audience was an appreciative one, demanding the re-ap-pearance of most of the performers. The programme was opened by an amusing sketch entitled 'The Automatons.' Mr Prince Godfrey sang ;I Can't Get On With It,' and had to respond to an encore. Miss Althea gave the coon song 'Lulu* and an American dance. Mr Tom Edwards sang an amusing parody on 'The Maid of the Mill,' and appeared with Mr Stowe in the burlesque 'Dante Outdone.' Miss Daisy Chard was very successful in 'Chance Your Luck,' and 'Whistling with .the Angels.' Mr Lucifer repeated his heavy-weight lifting and contortion feats, being, assisted by Mrs Lucifer. Mr Sid Doody contributed the song and dance 'O'Hagen,' and Miss Edie Wright sang 'A Jolly Crew.' The entertainment was. brought to a close by the comedy 'Buffalo Bill's Wildest West,' in which the parts were sustained by the members of the company.. The'programme will be repeated this evening.
