THE OPERA HOUSE.
The Maggie Moore-H. A. Roberts Company repeated the Irish comedy ' Arrah-na-pogue ' in the Opera House last evening. Miss Moore as Arrah gave an excellent interpretation of her part, while her songs were much enjoyed. Mr Roberts, as Shaun the Post, had a part which he admirably filled. All the other roles were well sustained, and. the audience manifested ita appreciation by frequent applause. To-night the well-known drama ' For-ty-Nine ' will be produced, with Miss Moore as Carrots, and Mr Roberts in the name part. On Friday night Mr Roberts will receive a benefit, under the patronage of. the New Zealand Na-, fives Association, when the double bill ' David Garrick ' and ' The Chinese Question' will be presented.
