THE ALAMEDA.
The Frisco mail steamer Alameda arrived from^San Francisco via Honolulu at 6; a.m. to-day. Mr Thos. Smith, the purser, to whom we are indebted for files and despatches, reports:—The Alameda left San Francisco at 7 a. m. on March 23, ten hours late. Arrived at Horiolulh on March 80, leaving at midnight same day. Reached Apia on the morning of April 6, leaving «; ribon, and arriving as above." Had fine eather and smooth seas to Apia.- Leav»pg Apia strong northerly, winds and rough sea prevailed for one day, thence fine weather and light winds to arrival. The Alameda leaves for- Sydney at 5 o'clock this evening, with the following passengers: Misses Shaw, Phillips; Philcox, Mesdames McArthur, ' Witheford, Philips, Ashby, » Shaw, Dunn, Cooper and child, Messrs Wftherford (2), G. H. Johnston, Shaw, Owen, Swanson, Denhlstori, As Deedes, H. B. Scott, J. H. Thompson, J:~C Dunn, Masters Phillips, Ashby and 12 steerage. > •
